FIESTA® DINNERWARE TAKES ANOTHER SLICE OF THE KITCHENWARE PIE

Colorful cutlery is latest addition to licensed products

Newell, W.Va.—(March 22, 2009)—The Homer Laughlin China Company™ is adding cutlery to the FIESTA lineup of licensees. Launching at the International Home & Housewares Show (Chicago), McCormick Place, South Building, Booth No. S2003 (and at S610, Cambridge Silversmith), Sunday, March 22 thru Tuesday, March 24, the items will be available in a rainbow of colors.

“This is a natural extension of the FIESTA family of products,” says Rich Brinkman, FIESTA Dinnerware. All FIESTA dinnerware is manufactured in the U.S. by Homer Laughlin. “Partner these items with the entire offering—dinnerware, serveware, bakeware, glasses and more—and you’ve created a FIESTA ‘lifestyle’.” “Enthusiasts are really excited.”

Homer Laughlin is partnering with Cambridge Silversmith to create the 100 percent fully forged stainless steel knifes—available in an 11- piece set including knife block and 6-piece steak knife set with a drawer knife block.

The 11-piece multipurpose cutlery set includes a wooden block—shaped in fashion of the FIESTA disk pitcher and featuring the brand’s signature “dancing lady” embossed on a stainless name plate. Knife blocks will be offered in a number of stains, depending on the color of knife set purchased.

The 6-piece steak knife set will be available in a neatly divided wooden tray (also in a coordinating color), which perfectly nests in a kitchen drawer. Each knife is also branded—delicately etched with the “dancing lady” and stainless name plate on the block.

To coordinate with the existing FIESTA color spectrum, the sets will be sold in solid colors: Scarlett, Tangerine, Sunflower, Cobalt, Peacock, Chocolate and Black. The Black set is sold with a clear-coated natural wood block or tray.

FIESTA Cutlery is being sold in stores and online now. The 11-piece cutlery set including block is available for $169.99 (MSRP) and the 6-piece steak knife set with in drawer knife block, $69.99 (MSRP).
